The Cabin

Oh My Word.. Here we go again.

So yeah.. that happened. I don't even have words for this..

I guess what they say is true.. what happens at TCNJ stays at TCNJ. all I will say is that I'm never eating another Twizzler again. To my surprise, I almost got a decent night's sleep on a blow up mattress. I've decided to just keep it in my car at all times, because I never know when I'm going to have an impromptu sleepover. The drive home was delightful, the weather was gorgeous. I-195 isn't all that bad, and I'm getting very used to driving it considering both Lehigh and TCNJ need it to get there.

When I was almost home I pulled up to a stop light and was checking out a zit on my face and noticed these four boys in the car next to me. Couldn't have been more than 17 y.o. My windows are cracked but my music is loud so I can't hear them, and I see them smiling and laughing so I give them the "the fuck you looking at" look and hand gesture. Then I go back to my zit. I see they are still looking at me, so after about ten seconds, I decide to give in and roll my window down. "What." "YO! Can I get Yo numbah!?" The only black kid in the car yells out. "No." "WHY NOT!? It's cause I'm black isn't it!" "No, it's not" "I bet you've never dated a black person in your life!" "actually.." Light turns green. Bai friends. see ya never. In all actuality, I've never dated a black person, no.

I get home to find two packages on the doorstep. curiosity. hmm. let me look. addressed to ME!! Thrilled. Racking my brain.. I didn't order anything lately.. hmmm. More curiousity. Race upstairs to open. I find three very interesting brain puzzles. Toss them to my mom, huh? what are these? Who ordered them? Hmm. even MORE curiosity. check the order slip inside.. from Scotland. Oh Heather, you shouldn't have. But am I ever so glad that you did. It's only 7:23 and I've finished all of them. What's next? more please! (kiddin' on, don't.) The first one had the lowest difficulty level. the "devil's knuckles". Two metal pieces looped together. Aim? Get them apart. Easy. Cake. Oh wait. not. took me an hour of pure frustration to figure it out. Got it. mastered. Then went to lunch with a friend from high school, sweetie pie that she is she picked me up from my house. Then we heard about some people mugging people behind delicious bagels. the FUCK is that about. get a life you sketchy people. I hope you get your dicks ripped off by a rogue pit bull. After lunch it's nap time. the best time. weird nap dreams, as per usual. Can't nap without having the all time weirdest dreams. Time to drive myself to the doctor, no problem. Got adjusted and some electro-therapy stuff and more adjusting and some testing of my balance and such. Pulse is racing at 110 for no good reason. Bad pulse. Y U NO like everybody else and just stay at 75!? Ok see you Wednesday! Oh, P.S., Matt Wade Band came on over the speaker at the doctor today. Hella cool.

Had a true scare on the drive home. I've never seen my car be so low on gas ever. It's about an eighth (took me three times to spell that btw) of a tank BELOW E. Check my DTE setting (pretty sure that's Distance to Empty) and it was 0 miles. Sweet. Let's see how far 0 miles really is. Turns out it's about four miles. good to know. Pulled into the first gas station I saw, $3.25/gal, not bad! I pull out, look across the street, had gas for $3.17/gal. cool cool. On my way home, stopped at the Beauty Supply Store for a hair clip. Four clips and Two nail polishes later, finally made it home. They sell Essie nail polish in EVERY SINGLE COLOR that exists, AND they sell it two dollars cheaper than Rite Aid, which is next door. Never going anywhere else for nail polish. ever.

Once I was home, first I had to beat my little brother's friend in pool, but then I went upstairs, tossed on an extra large shirt and kicked off my shoes and pants. ahhhh I wish I never had to wear pants ever. What to do now? OH YEAH. puzzles. the next hardest one was Galileo's Globe. Take all the pieces apart, easy. Put them back together? Oh.. an hour later, got it! Move on. Can't wait. Like a kid on Christmas. It's a 3x3 cube made up of Tetris like pieces made of bamboo. Aim? Make a cube with the pieces. Gotta be simple right? wrong. so wrong. another whole hour later, finally got a cube. Mission accomplished. Three puzzles beasted. Brain is shot, time to loaf around in my bed and blog about the day and facebook and try to read Kurt Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle, thanks Carly's roommate!

Pics or it didn't happen..

theeeese are what came in the mail (after i took the first one out of the box)

solved it. done

YEAHHH. that's what we call an empty tank.

it's a hair clip. and clearly I don't know how to use it properly.

puzzle No. 2, globe.

donezo.

blox

got it! nope..

got it! not even close.

ahhhh finally. Puzzles - 2, Aly -3. for the win

Oh yeah! Here's a song, stuck. in. my. brain. UGH.
enjoy.

The Girl

I just discovered the band City and Colour last night. Not sure what took me so long, but I love them.

Have a listen.

My date last night was too fun. It involved dunkin donuts, getting a little bit lost, not finding a parking spot for days, and lots of nostalgia. We got there in time to watch two bands perform and then Point Pleasant. With their show Cirque de Sole: KA, they blew me away. NINJAS. they were ninjas. and totally beasted their music. Shout out to the rifle line. high light of the show. I'm not sure what place they actually came in because we didn't stay for awards, but they were first in my heart <3 good luck with the rest of your season! Bring home a banner :)

Here's some proof. You have to skip ahead to 5:45 because the beginning is just prep , I didn't know when to start. WHOOPS. sue me.

This morning was average, as per usual. I took a bike ride to the restaurant. It was long. I miss riding bikes. Used to be the thing to do. THEN I ATE A BAGEL. that wasn't supposed to be in caps but caps lock was on and I wasn't looking. SO i's staying. After the egg bagel with cream cheese I helped my mother make Clams Oregenato. She cleaned em and I put the breadcrumbs on them. After we finished, I put my bike in the back of the pickup truck and rode home in the back, living life on the edge. Then mommy and I went to Target and Costco. at Target I got a new Fall/Colder Weather Jacket. It's. BEAUTIFUL. Anyone looking for a fall jacket should go to Target. absolutely. It's going to go swell for when I'm in Colorado this weekend. Gonna be chilly AF. At Target my mother had the best idea ever and told me I should visit some friends at TCNJ tonight. The moment she said those words she instantly regretted them. TOO BAD. That's the thing about me. once I get set on something, that's it. It has to happen. as soon as possible. no looking back no second thoughts. Probably a bad quality about me, but in reality, good and bad are only a matter of perspective. Next stop was Costco. Love me some Costco. Bought some hummus and pita chips and strawberries and raspberries and chicken and wine. yum yum yum yum yum. After we got home, we were unpacking the groceries from the car and some lady walking her dog stops to chat. She had two dachshunds. One of them had two different color eyes. They were friendly and cute. The lady told me that dachshunds came from Germany, and the word means literally "badger hound", and they used to hunt badgers. Pretty kewl fact. Post puppy session, I packed a bag and hopped into my car, got some gas and headed West on 195. TCNJ bound, I got my jam on for an hour or so, finally arriving at my "Destination ahead on the left".. thanks Staci (my gps lady voice). Parking pass acquired, car parked, stuff ditched at the dorm, we set off on a stroll to find some friends. Andrew first, then Carly. Carly had some lovely stolen quotes on her refrigerator, they were a must have. Picture below.  We went up to visit some BOIIIISS, friends of carl. Back to Betty's room to surprise DEANNA!! best surprise ever. Then Dan, equally satisfying surprise. After setting up my blow up bed, the rest has yet to happen, but I know it has to include breaking bad, a LOT of twizzlers, some cuddles, more cuddles, and a regular girls night. cannot wait.

Here's some photos of stuff that happened.

MMMMMMM raw clams .... bleh

Had to stop on the bridge on my bike ride to take a picture of the canal. So pretty.

Ridin' home in the back of the truck.

Thanks Becca! ;) goes perfect with my captain america one

Thanks Carl for these lovely words.
Isn't she a beauty queen? JUST STUNNING.

Getting REAL excited about Breaking Bad.
Carl trying to look like Miley Cyrus

Dan being Dan. on Deanna.

Things that were said, and I don't really want to explain:
"I'm naked, get off me"
"I'm dialating, I brought cats, and we ate lobsters"

Obtained this from the TCNJ crew. hilarious. enjoy.

Royals

Last we spoke, I had big, big plans of absolutely nothing. SO that happened. Then I got really bored. I started off with the dishes. I did all of the dishes. I also snuck in a FaceTime date with Hev. Technology now a days is amazing. Can do the dishes and chat face to face with Scotland. magic, I swear. THEN mommy and I watched a movie with popcorn with extra butter salt and pepper. mmmm. We watched Life of Pi. CGI is mild-blowing. Picked up a favorite quote from that movie,

"The whole of life is learning to let go"
-Life of Pi

Although we were planning on watching Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr., I'm glad that the comcast billed didn't get paid in time forbidding us from using On Demand, because Life of Pi was good. Before the movie started, I decided to make some delicious brownies with peanut butter morsels in them. chocolately peanut butter goodness. Joe brought me home rice balls from the restaurant again. Thats... three nights in a row I think? ugh. SO GOOD. go to spano's arnold ave and order rice balls. now.

Sleeping went poorly. Didn't fall asleep until 2am BUT I downloaded sooooo much music. made me so happy. Grouplove(new album), Motion City Soundtrack, the Neighbourhood, Pheonix (new album), Imagine Dragons(new single), Lorde(new album coming soon), Kings of Leon(new album) Arctic Monkeys, and some Avril and Katy Perry. Was in HEAVEN.

Woke up around 8:30 because my mom's cousin Allisen had a babyyy! and we were invited to the baby shower. quote of the day from mom..

"If I make it through this day without peeing my pants, I'll be happy. and You can put that in your blog"
- mom

She's too much. I can't wait to be 50, said no one, ever. I had an enormous plastic togo container of Capt'n Crunch for breakfast, and despite a slight delay from the restaurant (surprise surprise) we were on the road by 10:06. Off to Bethlehem, the town my beloved school belongs to. What a coincidence. I'm being tested I swear it. Everything is going according to schedule, driving is going fine, listening to new music with mommy, until we hit 412. traffic, EVERYWHERE. and then we try and take a back road to avoid traffic. dead end. dead end. "right here?" "NO, LEFT!" "right here??" "no go LEFT HERE" "no I mean THIS intersection right here!?" "oh. no, the next one." Let's just say it was a battle all on it's own. No bother. one hour late, not too shabby. Hello's and reunions everywhere. Got to see some cousins and uncles and all other sorts of relatives. Having cousins who are ages 21-27 is actually a really good thing, and I'm just now realizing it. Love you all, and Sandra, I'm coming to Philly ASAP.

Here are some pictures to prove it..
Mommy and T.J.

Mommy and T.J.

Sandra has an irrational PHOBIA of babies. she's sizing it up, here. mind you, I refer to him as an "it" as Sandra did.

I LOVE them. too much.

"you're wearing my shirt" Sandra to Janelle. hahaha. accidentally twinning sisters.

mushy little baby <3

JennyLee, Allisen, Sandra, Me, Janelle.
Let's see, we're missing Michael, Roy, Robbie, and Sammi? Pretty sure that's it.

Now Miss Victoria DeLena and I are off to watch the Point Pleasant Borough High School Panther Marching Band (that's a mouthful) perform at Toms River East High School. Best of Luck kiddies!!! Pictures and/or videos to be posted tomorrow!

Now then, here's the buttload of songs I bought yesterday, or at least some of them.

aaaaaand last one

enjoy.

Re: Stacks

the artist behind Skinny Love has an entire album of gems. just saying.

The Black Keys

I'm just feeling music today. And not much else.

Despite my best efforts, my mother still hasn't bought me a kitty yet. Here's to wishing.
My dream last night consisted of thanksgiving dinner and alien abductions. How that goes together is beyond me. If anybody is an interpreter of dreams, hit me up. Because I'm quite at a loss right now. I ate mini chocolates last night, including but not limited to kit-kat, snickers, milky way, almond joy, and crunch bar. But that's what happens when you find the candy mom bought from Costco and was planning on giving out for halloween. Rice balls were for dinner. They are basically crack balls. They are filled with crack. and are addicting. it's basically just rice and cheese balls fried and dipped in red sauce. here, let me demonstrate.
yes, my plate consists of to go containers from Spano's and my laptop.

mmmmmmmmmmmm cheeeesey balllllls of rice

wasn't lying.

Yesterday for lunch I got a Porkroll and Cheese on a plain bagel with salt, pepper, no ketchup and drove myself to the inlet. I sat there and listening to music and smelled salty air and watched boats race by and children running around in the sand. It was a delicious sandwich. Round Dough with a Hole. never fails. On my drive home I was parched. so i stopped at Stewart's root beer. and got a root beer. large. and it was delicious. Mom and I went to the doctor and then went to Barnes and Nobel (just like I said. I wasn't lying). Except homeGoods didn't happen. I lied about that. At Barnes and Nobel we walked around and I bought a book for a friend. and then shipped it to her at the UPS store. also shipped my international parcel. 4-7 business days ladies. get ready. hope I got the right address. Flat 3/2. it's like platform 9 3/4 . the UK is weird.

Woke up this morning at 1:13 pm. Was being a total lazy shit. didn't even care. Nobody was home. Which was fun. I poured myself a bowl of Special K red berries cereal. and then I put the Almost Famous soundtrack on over the house speakers and ate cereal on the back porch accompanied by simon and garfunkel. Then I followed the doctor's new orders of 15 minutes walks every day and I took a walk. I walked to the high school and back. Saw a man with his dog. I wish I still had my dogs.
Nobody said anything particularly inspiring. Then I took a shower. It was magnificently warm.
Now I'm lying on my bed listening to music. Here's a picture to prove it.

yes. my phone case is the UK flag. because I'm meant to be British, I swear it.
Plans for the rest of the day? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

last one, I promise. enjoy.

Crooked Teeth

I entice you to enter my brain with a song.
from Looking For Alaska "you shall love your crooked neighbor, with your cooked heart"

The doctor's office yesterday was average, per usual. Dana the Receptionist is becoming a friendly acquaintance. Mom was talking about the stresses of having a restaurant, ("if it were easy, everyone would have one"). Dana gave us some unexpected insight that I enjoyed. "If you can't control it, don't stress over it." I sat in the waiting room like a good little patient and mulled that one over in my head for a little bit. Before we left that day, mom gave me some advice too that stuck with me as well. I was deciding what outfit to wear because I had bought these cute pinstriped Overall shorts to wear, but I wasn't sure about that. I told her I was afraid people wouldn't like them. She got a funny look in here eye and her tone changed and she said, "It doesn't matter what people think. Even if they think good things about you, it doesn't make you any better of a person. Even if they think bad things about you, it doesn't make you and worse of a person." I decided to wear the overalls.

Two other quotes of the day by Lori
- "You never know what's going on in someone else's plate"
- " I just get so mad when my news feed doesn't load everything I want it to"

The first one being quite insightful, the second was one of the best First World Problems I've heard in a while. don't worry, called her out on it.

The most spectacular thing happened yesterday. I received a packaged addressed from someone at Lehigh University. Inside it was this..
The coolest present I've ever received. Filled with a handwritten letter, candy, UK flag print duct tape, and a batman button. Becca, Thank you. You made my day. I love you.

Last night I had a visitor, Miss Victoria DeLena paid me a visit. Bearing gifts, she popped in looking trendy as ever and we got to catching up. After hello's and how ya doin's, we settled in to watch our favorite movie, Almost Famous. Complaining about our lives and pining to be Penny Lane, we spent a lovely 2 hours and 41 minutes living in another world. A bankrupt world where the only true currency is what we share with someone when we're uncool. A world with Lester Bangs and cover stories for Rolling Stone magazine. A world where all the cool kids do drugs, it's okay to run off and become a stewardess, where it was common to be a band groupie and hangout in hotel rooms with them, where rock and roll was actually rock and roll. Where nobody is really sure when and where the real world occurs. I can't explain to all of you how much I love this movie. All I can say is that it's life changing.
Hey Tor, Looking forward to our date on Saturday babe ;)

This morning I woke up from a very, very strange dream. My mother hit me in the face with an ostrich egg in a grave yard that was flooded to the hills with a river. Don't know how there weren't bodies floating everywhere, but there weren't. That wasn't all. Apparently I was enrolled in a class about paranormal activities, and the professor and TA thought I could "see things", making me a clairvoyant or something. Being about to sense the undead, and such and such. Felt pretty cool to be special, but I didn't really like communicating with the spirits. "My name is Theresa Caputo. and I'm the Long Island Medium."

The agenda today consists of going to Barnes and Nobel, HomeGoods, the UPS store (to mail some special goodies overseas to some special girls), the Doctor's office, and then home to watch some gossip girl. At least I'm getting to spend some quality time with mom. Maybe I'll take Bruce (my car) to the carwash this week. He's looking a bit dirty. Can't be seen riding around in a dirty Jeep. Hopefully for lunch I get to eat some Porkroll and Cheese. and Dinner I would Kill for some Riceballs from Spano's Arnold Ave. (please joey!)

Today "ootd" consists of a top from target and American Eagle jeans. American Eagle jeans are the best jeans in the history of the world. If you're gonna rock jeans as a part of your outfit, you better at least have quality denim.

For now, I'll be sitting in bed listening to music and waiting for my mom to be ready to go.

My friend is a really fantastic photographer and put a bunch of photos on flickr today. click here to check out her internationally gorgeous photos.

Another reason why I love Almost Famous so much. Enjoy.

46 and 2

UT OH. guess what day it is. guess. what. day. it. is. hump DAYYY. happy wednesday.

I stumbled across these two videos yesterday, and they give me hope for the musical future. Because it wasn't looking very promising.
I showed this to my mother and it gave her chills and tears (then again, what doesn't with that lady) but it's quite the amazing video. I realize that you may not TRULY appreciate this video as much as I do. If you don't find this video astounding, you must first investigate the original song, 46 and 2 by Tool. Tool is one of the sickest bands of all time. And the fact that these kids did a cover of them and kicked the living shit out of it is beyond words.
I could watch this over and over and over again. The little girl couldn't sleep because she kept thinking she could hear fireworks. So the daddy came in to keep her mind off the fireworks with singing.

I had a dream last night I had a broomstick like Harry Potter. It was a badass dream. I could fly wherever I wanted to. And then I woke up. pity. In my head, my imagination, memories, and dreams are all in the same place, and they all feel the same. It makes remembering reality quite difficult. Jack Johnson wrote a song about that once called In Between Dreams. Upon waking up this morning, I found myself feeling really anxious. Like I had something due for school, or something I was forgetting. And then I remembered that I won't have anything "due" to do until January. Normally, hell yeah, that would be a relief. But I like the "oh shit" feeling of having something you need to get done, and then getting it done just before the time limit. I was listening to some birds outside my window. I was jealous. Those birds are just birds. They don't know who the president is, or anything about Syria. They can't watch the news and comprehend it. They're birds. I envy the birds.

I watched Modigliani last night with the fam. Our den has two seats and a couch big enough for one. My brother ended up sitting on the floor to watch. Picasso and Modigliani are the definition of Frenemies. They go from love to hate in a minute. In one scene, Modigliani is dancing around with a rose in his mouth like a fool, and seems to be making fun of Picasso in front of everyone, and Picasso goes, "why do you hate me so?" and the answer surprised me a bit. Modigliani goes, "it's not you that I hate, it's me". I liked it, because it was dark and unexpected for such a light scene. That's something that crazy artist and I have in common. We like other people more than we like ourselves. I don't think that's a crime. Loads of people do it. I get joy from other people being who they are. Other people fill me up with happiness I can't find on my own, and they don't even mean to. I'm such a firm believer that there is good in the human race. I know that good intentions can't outweigh bad decisions, but I love good intentions anyway. I love when people are passionate about things. I love when people are truly themselves without even realizing it. Here's a quote. Don't know who it's by, but it's not by me. Although I do feel everything that's in it...

"I love when people are drunk and crying and cannot be anything but honest in that moment. I love the look in people's eyes when they realize they're in love. I love the way people look when they first wake up and they've forgotten their surroundings. I love when people close their eyes and drift to somewhere in the clouds. I fall in love with people and their honest moments all the time. I fall in love with their breakdowns and their smeared makeup and their daydreams. Honesty is just too beautiful to ever put into words."
 - a quote, by somebody who I'd like to meet

There's nothing wrong with loving things. But it's truly liking something that people find difficult.

"I am very interested and fascinated how everyone loves each other, but no one really likes each other."
- the perks of being a wallflower

This quote makes me sad. because it gives love a bad name. not to sound cliche. but it does. saying something over and over makes it trite, and lose meaning. but when I say I love something, I really do. can you say the same? whoever "you" are.

I like pizza too much not to eat it, regardless of how fat it will make me.

OH. So my little brother says the phrase "yolo" last night. I couldn't disagree more with a saying in my life. You do not only live once. maybe you are only born once, and you only die once, but to me, every day that you wake up is a chance to live. Some people are alive but never live. and some people live in different ways all the time. The thing about living is, you're not doing it unless you've found something to live for. I can safely say I have not found something worth living for yet. But I know it's out there, and I will not stop trying to find it. Then again, maybe that's something worth living for huh? Seeking something to live for. My favorite book is Looking for Alaska by John Green. Miles says, "I go to find a Great Perhaps." I want one of those, I want a Great Perhaps, whatever that may be.

Today I get to go to the doctor. We've lessened the appointments to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Then I get to go to Homegoods, AND Staples. Living life dangerously. I guess this will help prepare me for my trip to Colorado next week (hi robbie and monica. I'm coming for you). Besides that, my day consists of calling my school's Bursar's office to get my semester refund check in order, watching a whole bunch of Gossip girl, and maybe a visit from a lovely lady named Victoria.

This is a song. Actually. It's a cover of a song I already liked. My bff just showed me this. shes lovely. she's got her own blog. you don't need to know who she is, but its http://momenttobreath.blogspot.com/ and she inspires me every day.
enjoy.

Sloom

First and foremost, I would like to tell you all a little secret. I know what the fox says. This is not a joke.

Mystery Settled. Ylvis, you're welcome.

I woke up this morning, looked through blinds at the sun and thought to myself, "wow. today hasn't even happened yet,". and I was genuinely happy. Anything in the world could've happened today, because it didn't happen yet. Then I remembered that I wouldn't be doing anything more than nothing today. again. This blog should be named something corny like "road to recovery" or something stupid like that, because I am taking an entire semester off of college to see a brain doctor five days a week. I can't stand up without my pulse going from a normal 75 to a racing 110 while the doctor plays "follow my finger with your eyes not your head". It's mundane. Nobody wants to hear about that, realistically. I wasn't fine. I left school. and I'm gonna be eventually. Once I go back to school and quit my near alcoholic tendencies, I should be normal like the rest of everyone. Although my mother once told me "there's no such thing as normal". My not so normal personality is a blessing and a burden, I must say. But really just a burden.

Now that I've had time to watch more movies and Netflix than I've ever thought possible, I've had time to decide my favorites. Almost Famous with Kate Hudson has still ranked far superior. I will never, ever, ever stop wanting to be her. That movie is the sole reason that I want to go to Morocco. Just leave, to a far off country. Leaving for leaving's sake. Following a band around, sleeping around with musicians around the country, ya know.. sex drugs rock and roll? I was SOO born in the wrong generation. I'm a dreaming, what can I say. However, coming up in a close second is Silver Linings Playbook. I think I would want to get with Jennifer Lawrence just as soon as I would Bradley Cooper. Can't even pretend I wouldn't. There's something about mentally unstable human beings, football, and ballroom dancing that makes the movie just... click for me.

My poor mother is sick as a dog. Patient and doctor roles are swapped, and I will be tending to her every need. Well wishes are welcome.

Sloom - of Monsters and Men
Passenger is a small band from the UK and I love them.

Both of these bands are famous for other songs, but I feel bad nobody knows their other songs.

I'm following this wonderful new blog, similar to my own, http://moragwilson.blogspot.co.uk/ , and It's a good read as well.

Wanna Be

While driving home from the neurologist today, The Spice Girls' Wanna Be comes on the radio, and my mother goes, "Is this Fergie?" I died a little inside. Following that, I Want it That Way comes on so I say, "at least tell me who this is..." and her first instinct is N'Sync. Talk about a generation gap.

apparently the 90's were a time when it was acceptable to shoot music videos without bras.
Amazing.

I miss school. a bunch. but there's nothing I can do.
Paramore's not so new, new album is great. This song is the mood of the hour. "Every night I try my best to dream, tomorrow makes it better. And I wake up to the cold reality that not a thing has changed. But it will happen."

I'm trying to convince my parents to get a kitten. So I can have something to invest my time in.
And remember, prostitutes are people too.

Explosions

Another Ellie Goulding delight.

I've probably listened to this song seven times today thus far. I could probably post the entire Halcyon Days album on this post, but I won't. You get the picture. It's fantastic. Since I slept through my cousin's Christening today where they dunk the poor baby in a bucket of holy water and he can get married in a church or something, I've decided to clean all day. and then that turned into five episodes of Gossip Girl and counting. So that's that.

Never Trust a Happy Song is Grouplove's I want to say most recent album? I dunno. Carly Yamrus showed it to me. I just picked my most played song from it and posted it. The whole album isn't as upbeat as this song, but it's just as good. So this is Chloe. I like it. Other favorites include Betty's a Bombshell, Close your eyes and count to ten, Colours, and Naked Kids.

This is my mood for the day. We'll see how it goes.

11:58pm
after hours of gossip girl, deciding I'd rather do a threesome instead of coke, and more eating than cleaning, I'd say today was extraordinarily average.

"If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude." -Maya Angelou
courtesy of Chris Kubat's facebook status. but I liked it.

This song is just what I'm feeling tonight for whatever reason. so. yeah. goodnight.

Goodness Gracious

Ellie Goulding - Goodness Gracious

I'm feeling this song tonight. Just can't seem to stop listening to it.

The reason for this blog is basically because I like music and posting songs that I like for other people to listen to if they so choose. Also to rant about how much being 19 sucks so far. Because it sucks, big time. Seeing as I got pulled from college for the semester, I might as well start doing something to take up the time. This post will be the first of many.

Also.. If any of you HAVEN'T heard this song yet, get out from under your rock and listen to it. You're welcome.
